1985 Suzuki RG400 WW
$25,000 + ORC
In March 1983 Suzuki presented the RG250 Gamma, the first member of the famous RG-Gamma family.
The following year Suzuki introduced the legendary RG500 Gamma and in 1985 a 400cc version (RG400EW/EW-2) was produced for the Japanese domestic market. Popular in the highly competitive 400cc racing class in Japan. Just over 6,000 total units were made. No bikes were made for export.
The RG400 Gamma like the 500, copied the Suzuki Racer of the time with its Four Water-Cooled Cylinders arranged in a square, Rotary Disc Valves and all the latest two-stroke technology. The chassis was as good as it got in 1985, with an aluminium box frame and Full-Floater rear suspension.
