2004 Aprilia RS50

$8,000 + ORC

The Aprilia RS50 was first unveiled in 1998, serving as a little brother to the popular RS125 and RS250 models by Aprilia that were taking the motorcycle world by storm. Call it a scooter, call it a motorcycle, the Aprilia RS50 can certainly be considered both of them. It combines small power with a fast and agile machine, a true machine dedicated to giving a fantastic riding experience. The first model version was produced from 1998 through till 2006, until it got a redesign and re-release. A 4 Stroke version also began production in the early 2010’s.

The bike is popular in countries that have restrictions on motorcycle engine size at specific ages. In restricted form the RS50 is capable of speeds of 50 km/h (30 mph), as per the laws in many European countries for those aged 16. In derestricted form, the 1997 model was tested at a speed of 105 km/h (65 mph).[1] This and other similar machines such as the Derbi GPR 50 and Yamaha TZR50 have also been popular choices as a more adult-sized option for MiniGP racing, which is otherwise more commonly participated in by riders of smaller bikes such as the Honda NSR50.
